They came to confirm our orders and offered us a complementary drink. When we arrived in the restaurant at 20.00 the atmosphere was nice with live music and Christmas decorations. For the 24th of December we had preordered what we would like to eat a month before our arrival. There weren’t any people speaking in English in the bar and restaurant and there was only one in the reception that you had to ask for her at least two times to arrive and ask your questions. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the service. If you visit and have the chance to relax and read a book in the view point I assure that is worth it. We stayed in the hotel for Christmas 2022. They were so friendly and helpful without exception. Lastly, we would like to add a kind word for all the staff. All the food we chose was excellent, well prepared and tasty. As the hotel is located about 20 minutes’ walk out of San Agustin, it was more convenient to dine in during the evening. There is a large central reception lounge and dining area. All the rooms are either detached or semi-detached and located down gravel paths surrounded by a dense patchwork of trees giving total privacy. Good lighting throughout and lots of electric points both upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs there was a very comfortable king bed with a second balcony and a wooden swing to enjoy the view. Downstairs had lots of seating, a lovely balcony, coffee maker, a large bathroom with great rain shower and constant hot water. Our room was a two-tiered thatched detached building with glorious views over the Magdalena valley.
